Biography:
Dr. Sa’ed H. Zyoud was born in 1975 in Palestine. He got a B.Sc. degree in Pharmacy in 2000 at Mosul University/ Iraq. Then, he was awarded a university scholarship to get a master's degree in Clinical Pharmacy at the same university. He was graduated with an M.Sc. degree in 2003 and he was being in the first rank. In 2004, he returned to work as Clinical Pharmacist for monitoring and dispensing drugs for in and outpatients/ Specialized Arab Hospital / Nablus. In 2006, he worked as poison information provider and a specialist at Poison Control and Drug Information Center, Scientific Centers, College of Medicine and Health Sciences, An-Najah National University/ Nablus / Palestine. In 2009, he was awarded the Islamic Development Bank Scholarship to complete his Ph.D. degree in Clinical Pharmacy-Clinical Toxicology at Universiti Sains Malaysia/ Malaysia. In 2012, he returned to An-Najah National University/ School of Medicine and Health Sciences/ Department of Pharmacy to continue his work as an assistant professor. His research program during the M.Sc. postgraduate period was centered on preparing & testing herbal compounds as pharmaceutical agents to be used as a paste for the treatment of recurrent aphthous ulceration. Also, his research program during Ph.D. postgraduate work was centered on poisoning and clinical toxicology (i.e. Clinical and Toxicological Aspects Associated with Acetaminophen Poisoning, and Predictors of its Outcomes”.
