Biography

Dr. Samer Mudalal was born in Toulkarem in 1978. He got his Ph.D. in Food science and Biotechnology from Bologna University, Italy. Currently, he is Head of Department of Nutrition and Food Technology as well as Coordinator of Master program in Nutrition and Food Technology (Faculty of Graduate Studies) since 2016. He has more than 25 publications in meat processing field, in addition  to microemulsions filed. He was awarded several research grants including the following:

  • Youth Program grant during European Poultry Conference, June 2014 in Stavanger, Norway
  • Staff Mobility for teaching to University of Naples Federico II funded by Erasmus +, two weeks, Italy, for two years 2016 and 2017
  • Zamalah grant (funded by Palestinian Bank) for international research activities with University of Bologna, Italy
  • Excellence of research certificate offered by Dean of Scientific Research at Najah National University, 2017
  • Research grant offered by Dean of Scientific Research at Najah National University, 2017
  • Research Funding for Applied Integrated Research From the Palestinian Agricultural Academic Project (PAAC) Funded by NUFFIC
  • research grant from Palestinian ministry of education and higher education, 2018


he is supervisor for several graduate thesis. moreover, He is a membership in national and international scientific and professional organizations and committees.
