Dr. Moien Omar currently he is an Associate professor of power electronics at An-Najah National University. He teaches electrical machines, Power electronics for undergraduate students, and he teaches smart grids and distributed generations for master students. He holds a B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from An-Najah National University, Palestine as well as a M.Sc. degree in Clean Energy and energy conservation Engineering from An-Najah National University in 2008 with a Thesis title: Computer-Aided Design and Performance Evaluation of PV -Diesel Hybrid System. In 2012, he was awarded a full scholarship to get PhD in power electronic converter applications. In 2015 Dr. Moien graduated with the thesis “Power Converters and Control for Grid-Connected Microgrids under Unbalanced Operating Conditions”.
