Dr. Mohammed A. F. Itma was born in Nablus, Palestine. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Architecture at An-Najah National University, Palestine. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the same university in 2000, followed by a Master’s degree in Architectural Conservation in 2008. In 2016, he obtained his PhD in Urban Housing Design from the University of Minho, Portugal.
His research interests include housing design, affordable housing, urban housing patterns, architectural conservation, and the relationship between built environments and human behavior. He has also participated in numerous training courses and specialized workshops in several countries related to architectural culture and housing design.
