This study discusses the subject of Islamic Caravanserais, and shading lights on the Architectural aspects for "Khanalwakalah" building in Nablus, as one of the important Ottoman caravanserais in Palestine. It aims basically to collect and analyze information on "Khanalwakalah" building, which may raise the concern of institutions which are working on rehabilitating this building since 2005. This study makes a comparison between the main architectural components of Khanalwakalah with those Islamic standards for building caravanserais so as to verify whether they are similar or not. The study concludes that the architectural characteristics of Khanalwakalah differs with those general standards of Islamic khans established in the ottoman period , spatially the shape of the courtyard which is irregular. also khanalwakalah belongs to the second type of caravanserais, which are built inside the cities.
