I got my Bachelor's degree from Arab American University, and afterwards worked in medical laboratory and gained experience in both hospital and private lab settings.
I obtained my Master degree from Al-Quds University-Palestine in Medical Laboratory Sciences / Microbiology and Immunology track. My master's thesis involved working with molecular techniques to create a numerical molecular classification system that can be used for Streptomyces classification.
In the academic year 2013/2014, I Joined the teaching staff of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, where I taught in the Department of Biomedical Sciences. At the end of the academic year, I was nominated for and obtained a grant from ERASMUS MUNDUS cooperation program to obtain a doctoral degree from University of Balearic Islands, Mallorca, Spain.
In 2017, I completed my Doctoral degree in the field of Microbiology and Immunology. My Doctoral thesis involved a study of Host-Pathogen interactions and is titled: "Identification of P. aeruginosa binding molecules for complement component C3 and surfactant protein A"
Currently, I am working as anAssociate professor in the Division of Immunology, Microbiology and Pathology / Department of Biomedical Sciences / Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences / An-Najah National University.
