Adnan Daraghmeh is an associate professor in the Department of Mathematics at An-Najah National University, Palestine. He received his bachelor's degree in pure mathematics and his master's degree in computational mathematics from An-Najah National University. He was awarded the Erasmus Mundus scholarship to complete his doctoral studies in Applied Mathematics—Optimal Control Theory at the Free University of Berlin and Brandenburg University of Technology, Cottbus, Germany. His research interests include operations research, linear and dynamic programming, applied mathematics, dynamic systems, and control methods with applications in physical and engineering problems and differential equations. He has supervised several M.A. students and served as an examiner for graduate theses. He has published papers in high-impact international journals and has been selected as a reviewer for manuscripts in applied mathematics. He also serves as a course coordinator and a member of several committees in the Department of Mathematics.
