Dr. Ibrahim Alzuheir is the Assistance professor of veterinary virology at Department of Veterinary Medicine at An Najah National University, Palestine.
Dr. Alzuheir born in Kuwait in 1981. He graduated from Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) in 2004 with a Bachelor Veterinary Medicine. He remained at the JUST to complete his Masters of Science in Veterinary Physiology and Pharmacology in January 2007. After receiving his master education, Dr. Alzuheir joined the staff of Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at An Najah National University to teach veterinary pharmacology and biochemistry.
In November 2013, Dr. Alzuheir earned an Erasmus Mundus Ph.D. scholarship at Institute of Virology. Department of Veterinary Medicine at the Freie Universität Berlin. He did his Ph.D. project on recombinant Marek`s Disease viruses, completed his Ph.D. in August 20016 and published his work at Frontier virology Journal. Dr. Alzuheir has also published on various topics in veterinary medicine. During his career, he has supervised many graduate projects related to veterinary and animal sciences. In addition, he is active membership in many scientific and preparatory professional committees.
Dr. Alzuheir motivation for conducting scientific work in the Molecular characterization of animal and zoonotic viral disease. His work leads to reporting and description many infectious diseases in Palestine.Download CV
