Biography

Dr. Nabil Alawi is an associate professor of American literature and translation. He holds a Ph.D. degree in American literature of the 19th century from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. He teaches American studies,  American and English literature and literary theory to senior and junior students and translation between Arabic and English for graduate students. Dr. Alawi has a special interest in modern and contemporary Palestinian literature.

Dr. Alawi is an active researcher; he published papers in the domains of literature, translation, social work, and a book on language communication
