The research examines the role of interior design, supported by generative artificial intelligence tools, in enhancing cultural dialogue among Arab youth, which has led to reshaping patterns of understanding between peoples through technological advancements in arts and languages. The research starts from the premise that the Arab living room is a vibrant space where local heritage symbols coexist with global influences, making it an ideal setting to study the interaction between cultural identity and sustainable creativity. The research adopts an applied comparative methodology by designing a model of an Arab living room twice: first, using traditional design programs, and second, employing generative AI tools to produce alternative visions for the same space. The outcomes present a comparison between the two cases according to dimensions of creativity, representation of identity and cultural dialogue among Arab environments, and sustainability. The results also indicated that the conscious use of AI broadens the scope of creative experimentation among youth and opens the way for generating interior spaces that encompass symbols from various Arab cultures, transforming the space into a miniature "dialogue platform" between cultures within a single home.

The research concludes with practical recommendations regarding the reformation of interior design curricula in Arab universities to integrate AI tools within a critical framework based on identity and sustainability, and to encourage cross-country studio projects in the Arab world that utilize these tools to design shared spaces that promote civilizational dialogue between peoples through art, language, and interior environments. In addition, it recommends training Arab youth on how to use AI tools to create a harmonious design style across Arab countries.
