This three-days training introduces participants to modern concepts of sustainable waste management as a driver of environmental responsibility, economic efficiency, and academic research.
Unlike conventional “waste disposal,” the training emphasizes waste as a resource within the framework of circular economy principles: Reduce – Reuse – Recycle – Recover (4Rs).
Special focus will be given to the Mauritanian context, considering:
