The human health becomes obsession for most people around the world, the heart diseases is one of many factors that threatens human lives, the objective of this paper is to provide medical intervention anywhere at any time using GSM and GPS technologies. This paper presents the design and implementation of a Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) system by utilizing the cellular GSM technology in order to send Short Message Service (SMS) to the responsible person typically the doctor in charge of following the patient health. Also the SMS can be send to the emergency center to take an action like sending an ambulance. The proposed system combines two commonly used technologies namely Global System for Mobile (GSM) and Global Positioning System (GPS). The earlier mention technologies are indeed as easy practical, inexpensive and very effective way for transmitting vital information to the healthcare providers. Moreover the system take into consideration a pre-defined critical threshold values, in case the heart pulse rate outside the threshold the last valid patients geographical position (longitude and latitude) which is gathered from GPS module will be recorded, and then an SMS will be sent by using a GSM module to specific phone number for responsible destination. Moreover its worth to mention that the SMS contains the patient
