Abstract: Objective: This paper explores the importance of enhancing Palestinian cultural identifiers in residential interior design, highlighting the close relationship between cultural identity and design expressions. With accelerating technological and social developments, interior design faces the challenge of preserving cultural identity, which represents a historical and civilizational heritage. The research addresses the impact of the absence of cultural identity on interior design and notes the importance of integrating elements of Palestinian cultural identity in the design of spaces, especially in the homes of Palestinian ambassadors and diplomats. This research includes a detailed analytical study of the Palestinian Ambassador's house in Jordan and a comparative analysis with the Palestinian Ambassador's house in Italy to enrich understanding. Methodology: The research is based on an analytical methodology using case studies of Palestinian ambassadors' homes in different countries, which allows for an estimation of the extent to which design patterns highlight cultural identity. This includes analyzing various aspects, such as colors, furniture, and materials, and how these elements can reflect cultural traditions and idiosyncrasies. Main Findings: The research indicates the need for designers to commit to promoting cultural identity through interior spaces, reflecting the spirit, history, and heritage of the Palestinian people. The study reached a set of important results, the most significant of which is that the design of the residence must clearly reflect the features of Palestinian cultural identity through its design elements. Conclusions: The research also stresses the importance of renewing these elements in a way that ensures their sustainability and suitability to the needs of the individual residents of these spaces. This is attributed to the widespread influence of communications and globalization, which seek to erase cultural differences. Interior design based on cultural identity can, in turn, enhance a sense of belonging and pride. Recommendations: In conclusion, this research serves as an invitation to designers, as they engage with interior design, to take responsibility for preserving and promoting Palestinian cultural identity through their work. Incorporating these determinants will have a positive impact on how the internal environment is perceived and valued by users, thus contributing to the sustainability of cultural identity in the face of contemporary challenges.
