Abstract :

This study addresses the presence and absence of the first “yaieat” of Al-Mutanabi which compliment Kafor Al-Ekhshidee. This poem enriches with present elements and absent ones and greatly affected the mobility and structure of the text. It also revealed a psychological distributed between a past represented by Saif-Aldawla and a present represented by Kafor Al-Ekhshidee. 

Furthermore, it raises a conflict between the passion of the poet concerning Saif-Aldawla and his mind that searching Emirate with Kafor. The hesitation was ended of the victory of the requirements of reality. Then, the text was gone to several exaggerations in which the poet took into account characteristics of Kafor. This was instead of his convictions, but holding his love to Saif-Aldawla. For example, he was made Kafor like a sea, while Saif-Aldawla and other kings like rivers. Additionally, he made Kafor his eyes. Doing this, he was like one who burns all of his old records; waiting the glory that he was waiting for.
