This study aims to focus and shed light on the tools and methods of data collection and analysis used in scientific research; Where the research is not considered scientific unless the study was completed in accordance with the principles, rules, foundations and correct scientific methods, and passed all the correct steps, starting from the presentation of the “problematic” problem and ending with the results and recommendations, in addition to the fact that the research is objective, abstract and far from personal bias.

Scientific research is based on the careful use of different methods and tools used by researchers to obtain accurate data that express the characteristics and nature of different phenomena, and then analyze these data in a correct scientific manner and using appropriate scientific research tools according to the appropriate scientific method used by the researcher.

 To project the theoretical study on reality, especially in studies of economics and administrative sciences in a particular organization or a sample of organizations and institutions, and through the use of the appropriate approach for this, it is necessary to identify the appropriate tool or tools to collect and analyze information and data and come up with results and recommendations for the specific problem. Determine the course of the research and the results extracted at the end of the research, where the type of appropriate research tool is determined according to the type of information and evidence used in the analysis and its suitability to the subject of the study; Some studies are only suitable for them by a questionnaire, others are suitable for them only an in-depth interview, and others can be mixed between interview, observation and questionnaire, and there are studies for which only tests are suitable.
