Dr. Hatim H. Hijaz is an Associate Professor of Urology at An-Najah National University and a consultant urologist at An-Najah National University Hospital. He is a board-certified urologist with subspecialty expertise in endourology and minimally invasive urological surgery, with a particular focus on the management of kidney and ureteric stone disease.
Dr. Hijaz completed his urology residency training at the Royal Medical Services in Amman, Jordan (2011–2016), and obtained both the Arab Board of Urology and the Palestinian Board of Urology in 2017. He earned his medical degree (MBBS) from Dow University of Health Sciences in Pakistan. His training pathway combines regional and international exposure, with a strong foundation in surgical skills, clinical decision-making, and patient-centered care.
Clinically, Dr. Hijaz specializes in advanced endoscopic and minimally invasive procedures, including ureteroscopy (URS), laser lithotripsy, and percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL), including mini-PCNL techniques. His scope of practice also includes the management of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), lower urinary tract symptoms, urinary tract infections, hematuria evaluation, and diagnostic cystoscopy.
