Biography

Yasmin Abuobaid has an MA in Applied Translation Studies from the University of East Anglia, Norwich, UK, and currently teaches English language courses at the Languages Centre, An-Najah National University, Nablus, Palestine. Her research interests are in Translation Studies, Literary Studies, Gender Studies, and Feminism. She has a published article in comparative literature that appears in the Bulletin of Advanced English Studies journal. Her published translated works include a novel ‘Mountain of Heaven’ translated from Arabic to English, and a brochure for Norwich Cathedral use from English to Arabic that is published for public display.
