Biography

Mai Kanaan works as an instructor at the Department of Computer Science at An-Najah National university, Palestine. She received her BSc in Computer Science from An-Najah National University in 2004, ranking the first in the department. She received her Master of Science in Computer Science from The George Washington University (GWU) in Washington DC, USA in 2006, and short after that she joined the faculty of Computer Science at An-Najah University. Mai has taught a variety of courses including: Computer Introduction, Computer Programming in C++ and Java, Data Structures, Discrete Mathematics, Design and Analysis of Algorithms and Technical Writing. She has supervised a number of graduation projects. She was also a member of An-Najah Information Technology Incubator steering committee 2008-2010.
