Dr. Fadi has been a lecturer at An-Najah University, teaching Criminal Law in both BA and MA programs, since 2005. Dr. Fadi has supervised Master theses for students in Criminal Law and is an external chair for several Palestinian universities. He is also an active member of a number of committees at An-Najah University, including Disciplinary Committee, Quality Assurance and Accreditation Committee, and Legislation Committee.
In his classes, Dr. Fadi tends to focus on the hands-on practice of law. To help enrich the theory students are currently being taught in class, he hopes to invite more experts to An-Najah who specialize in interactive, pragmatic applications of law, so students can learn from a variety of perspectives. He also seeks to build the capacity of law faculty and is interested in improving their qualifications via workshops and trainings. In the future, he sees the Faculty of Law at An-Najah become experts in their respective fields who will then promulgate their skills to others.
A practicing lawyer since 2007, Dr. Fadi also serves as an Arbitration judge, and provides his expertise to criminal cases that require victims’ compensation eligibility determination.
Dr. Fadi has also worked as a media consultant on International Crimes, providing legal opinion and expert advice to a number of national and regional news agencies, including BBC in Arabic, Al- Jazeera, Palestine TV, ANU Broadcasting, and Al-Quds TV, Al-Khalil Radio, 24 FM and others.
