Biography

Dr. Safaa Hamada has a Ph.D. in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Minho, Portugal and works currently as an assistant professor at the Department of Geography and Geomatics. Dr. Hamada’s research interests are in urban and regional planning, rural planning, sectoral planning, solar energy studies, GIS, and Remote sensing. She has published articles regional planning in Jordan Valley, water resources in Jordan Valley, and natural characteristics for Jordan Valley,  land use in Portugal, and sectorial plan, using Delphi technic in planning. Dr. Hamda is developing research activities as an integrated member of the Center for Studies of Geography and Spatial Planning (CEGOT - UM/UC/UP)/ Portugal.
