Biography
Dr. Mean Helmi Samara was born September 2nd, 1958 in Brouqin, Palestine. He is married and has four children. He received a bachelor’s degree in Animal Production and protection from the University of Jordan, Amman, Jordan, 1981. In 1986, he was awarded a British Council scholarship where he got his M.S. in Animal Production, from the University Of Reading, England. He received his PH.D. degree in Animal Science with concentration in Poultry Nutrition , 1994 from the University of Tennessee, USA. Since 1995, he is employed at the Department of Animal Production/ Faculty of Agriculture and Vet.Med at An-Najah National University, Palestine .In addition to teaching, Dr.Samara is the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Vet.Med. for the third time.
