Biography

Dr. Rami Qawariq holds a PhD in Applied Linguistics from Lancaster University- UK. He is an assistant professor at the department of English and the director of the Language Center at An-Najah National University. Dr. Qawariq is mainly interested in the critical (language) analysis of political and media discourses. He tries to identify the discursive strategies employed in these discourses, which may help in understanding the way ideologies formulate the collective thinking of social actors.
