Biography

Over 25 years of research, educational and industrial experience in  water resources engineering.  Experienced in many computer models used in environmental and water resources studies including: HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, SewerCAD, WaterCAD, StormCAD, EPANET, HY-8, Hydraulic Toolbox, CROPWAT.  Career includes teaching and research in the fields of environmental and water resources engineering.  Extensive experience in the modeling and hydraulics of pipe networks, sewers, hydrologic analyses and modeling, flood inundation mapping, highway drainage, design and operation of water infrastructure systems and treated wastewater reuse.  Experienced in designing and implementing water development projects in irrigated agriculture including infrastructure development and institutional setups.

Research interests include: water conservation, wastewater reuse, water resources development and climate change.
