Dr. Maen Ishtaiwi is the Vice President Assistant for Academic Affairs, Scientific Faculties at An-Najah National University. Since 2015, he has worked as an Assistant professor in the Physics Department at An-Najah as well. He obtained his B.Sc degree in Physics minor Electronics, from An-Najah National University, in May 2007. During 2007 to 2008, he was a Teaching Assistant in the Physics Department, An-Najah. He obtained his M.Sc. degree in November 2010 and PhD degree in Electronics and Material Science in March 2014 from Politecnico di Torino, Italy. He was Head of the Physics Department from 2016 to 2018, where he was also the coordinator of the Master of Physics and then as the Dean of the Faculty of Science from 2018 to 2021. His research interests focus on electrical sensors and measurements, materials science and nanotechnology, solar cells.
