يهدف هذا المساق إلى توظيف المفاهيم والأدوات الجغرافية في فهم البيئة الطبيعية ومكوناتها وكيفية تأثير الأنشطة البشرية المختلفة عليها وعلى جودتها وتحديد المشاكل البيئية الناتجة ومعرفة أسبابها وآثارها والحلول الوقائية والعلاجية المطروحة عالميا ومحليا. ويتناول المساق المفاهيم والمصطلحات الأساسية المستخدمة في علم البيئة والجغرافيا البيئية. كما يتطرق المساق إلى دراسة الإنتهاكات الإسرائيلية للبيئة الفلسطينية وتقييم الأنشطة الفلسطينية الرسمية والأهلية للحفاظ على البيئة وحمايتها.

This course aims to employ the geographic concepts and tools in the understanding of the natural environment and its components, and the way the different Human Activities affect the natural environment and its quality, and the determination of the resulting Environmental Problems and to know its causes (reasons), effects, and Preventive and Treatment Solutions on the local and Global levels.

This course studies the basic concepts and terms used in the science of Ecology and Environmental Geography.

The course also discusses Israeli Violations of Palestinian environment and it evaluates the Palestinian Official and civil activities to conserve and protect the environment
