The Relationship between Emotional Intelligence and Brain Dominanceamongst Police Officers in Palestinian

The purpose of this study was to determine the level of emotional intelligence and brain dominance among police officers in Palestine, as well as to determine therelationship between emotional intelligence and brain dominance. To achieve thatthe study was conducted on a sample of (205) police officers in Palestinian and twoscales applied to measure emotional intelligence and brain dominance.

The study indicated that the total level of emotional intelligence, was high,

and the prevalence of integrated brain dominance. Also, the results revealed a significant positive correlation between emotional intelligence and brain dominance.

Based on the findings of the study, the researcher recommended to more

attention should be given to keep in mind the criteria of applying emotional

intelligence and brain dominance in selecting officers before conducting specifictraining courses.
