The work contains a comparative analysis of the characteristics of shot techniques
in the support position for three groups of subjects. Special single-plane video
shooting of shots was made. Players with higher skill levels had maximum
values of horizontal velocity of arms exceeding those of other groups of players.
Growing skills promote an increase of takeoff speed and average maximum
values of horizontal and vertical velocities of knee extension of the back leg.
When developing the requirements for the biomechanical characteristics of the
shot technique in the support position, it is important to take into account the
performance of the final acceleration of arms and leg work during the last step
of run.
