Abstract

A mathematical model for estimating of the population size of West Bank and Gaza Strip is re-proposed.

This model was first proposed in 1992, when there were no national, independent, or reliable census was conducted. Later, three Palestinian-mobilized censuses were conducted in the above mentioned Palestinian areas; that is of 1996, 2007 and that 0f 2017. Applying our (same) model showed a great deal of agreement with the resulting figures of the two executed censuses in the same two areas by PCBS.

Testing of our model on accurate demographic data and comparing with similar studies or projections shows its accuracey, reliability, and thus its validity.
