The Impact of Total Quality Management and Cost Management Techniques in Improving Performance of Jordanian Shareholding Industrial Companies Prof. Abdul Naser I. Nour, Dr. Abdel-Aziz A. Abstract: The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of integration between TQM and cost management techniques on improving Jordanian shareholders industrial companies’ performance. The data were collected by questionnaire from 70 managers selected by random sampling from 10 Jordanian shareholders industrial companies working in production field. After confirming the validity and reliability of the questionnaire different methods used to test the hypothesis such as; mean, standard deviations, simple and multiple regression, in addition to Path analysis. The study results show that the elements of TQM (quality improvement, cost reduction and customer satisfaction) affect the Jordanian shareholding industrial companies’ performance; also the elements of cost management techniques affect the Jordanian shareholding industrial companies’ performance. Finally, the results show that the integration between total quality management (TQM) and cost management techniques affect directly and indirectly the Jordanian Shareholding industrial companies’ performance. The study recommends that the Jordanian shareholding industrial companies have to continue applying total quality management and cost management techniques to be in line with current highly competitive market.
