The paper examines the relationship between forms of political parties' life and interrelations, and the construction of a Palestinian Constitution for the the Palestinian state. The paper explores the current status of political parties that pertains to main charachteristics of those parties especially the deep divisions plaugining party life, and link it to the constitutional building. The backdrop of the paper lies on the legal framework that regulates party life in order to evaluate the role parties would play in the process of constitutional building.
