Guardianship and its Role in the Reformation of the wife is a research with two main chapters. Chapter one defines “guardianship” the responsibility of caring for and monitoring family affairs.  Chapter two discusses the means by which the husband can discipline his wife in exceptional cases. In three methods to follow in cases of wife disobedience and violation of marital duties. The first choice- the easiest- is advice. If this doesn’t work out and the wife does not reform then the husband parts himself from his wife in bed. The final choice, if the first two are hopeless, is to strike the wife, but without severely harming her.
