This research keeps track of the Quranic verses, which reported the various derivatives of the term plotting according to the objective interpretation methodology of the Quranic term, in order to understand this term and stand on its related meanings and connotations in the Quran. It was found that this term in the Qur'an is commonly used to describe the righteous people and the people of falsehood, people of falsehood plot evil, while the righteous people plot goodness, however, the term often comes associated with evil and immorality. One of the most learned values from the study is that Allah’s plotting is superior compared to Satan and disbelievers’ plotting, proof of the prophets infallibility from deliberately committing sins, and the legitimacy of plotting on the side of good, without harming others
