Prophets' Unfulfilled Wishes And Its Educational Effects

Abstract

This research aims at finding the Quranic chapters that showed some of the situations encountered by the prophets saying their wishes. So, the main objective is to study those unfulfilled wishes and find out the reasons behind wishing and the consequences accordingly. So, prophets' wishing phenomenon shows that they are humans. However, since some of those whishes were not fulfilled, that can indicate the real role of prophets (peace be upon them) in delivering the message of Allah as it is, not more or less. Moreover, we could notice from the analysis of this phenomenon that even if those wishes appeared to be obviously contrary, they still follow the right path away from committing sins. Also, they don't oppose the purity of prophets (peace be upon them).
