The paper offers a tentative assessment to the conflicts storming the ME especially the changes and developments of the Palestinin-Israeli conflict, and in which ways it affects Int'l and regional security. In the heart of this discussion, the paper takes special focus on the American role in these conflicts, and the possible stratigies that she may adopt in dealing with the new scenarioe of regional allignements. It comes to a conclusion that the region is changing in profound startegic ways that may yield new pacts which makes it rather ellusive to the US to adopt a fixed strategy.
