This paper was talking about cognitive strategy activators in terms of concepts, systems, types, positions, and modes. It also derive some hypotheses related to the system, positions, and modes of cognitive strategy activators.
The paper included two Figures: One showed the types of cognitive strategy activators in terms of its positions (timing), and the level of instructional performance they promote. The second Figure showed the relationship between the timing of cognitive strategy activators and the stages of information processing in students’ memory.
The paper ended up with presenting different type of cognitive strategy activators that frequently used in classroom and the definition of each type.
