A STUDY OF SAMI AL-KEELANI'S VOLUME OF SHORT STORIES, " THREE MINUS ONE"
The research paper studies Sami Keelani's short story collection, Three Minus One . The collection includes twenty - three short stories and deals with a prominent period of Palestinian history under occupation. I have tried to clarify the relationship between the author and the collection the justification for the choice of topics, and the relationship between these topics and the Socio-Political reality under which the author lives. Also , I have studied certain technical aspects of the collection as exposition, characters, language and style. I have also explored certain aspects of the short story in the occupied territories, aspects which can shed light on the nature of Palestinian literature under occupation.

يتناول البحث دراسة المجموعة القصصية (ثلاثة ناقص واحد) لسامي الكيلاني، والمجموعة تتكون من ثلاث وعشرين قصة قصيرة تناول فيها الكاتب مرحلة مميزة من مراحل حياة الشعب الفلسطيني في ظل الاحتلال، وقد حاولت من خلال الدراسة توضيح علاقة المجموعة القصصية بشخصية الكاتب، وسبب اختيار موضوعات قصصية، وعلاقة هذه الموضوعات بالواقع الذي يعايشه على المستويين السياسي والاجتماعي، وتناولت الدراسة كذلك دراسة بعض القضايا الفنية مثل: بدايات القصص والشخصيات واللغة والأسلوب. وقد حاولت من خلال الدراسة استكشاف بعض جوانب العمل القصصي في الأراضي المحتلة، بحيث يمكن أن تشكل هذه النماذج مع غيرها من الأعمال الأدبية الأخرى، صورة عن طبيعة الأدب الفلسطيني في زمن الاحتلال
