The Incidence of Fasciolosis in Cattle Slaughtered in Palestine

The purpose of this study was to investigate the incidence of the spread of facilities in cattle slaughtered in Palestine. All cattle entered Nablus central slaughterhouse were examined for the disease.Focal and liver animals for diagnosis of the disease. Fecal samples were subjected to sedimentation while liver samples were anatomically tested by a hand lens.
The study showed that heifers had the highest rate ( P<0.05) of infection during spring, while male calves had the highest infections ( P< 0.05) during autumn.
Adult cows suffered from the disease at highest rates ( P< 0.05) during winter and spring.
The study showed the incidence of the disease in cattle slaughtered al local slaughter houses, especially in adult cows during winter and spring seasons.
