ملخص ھدف ھذا البحث إلى تحديد الصفات التي يراھا الناخب الفلسطيني مؤھلة لعضو المجلس التشريعي الفلسطيني في انتخابات عام ٢٠٠٦ م. وقد جاء ترتيب ھذه الصفات كما يلي: كون المرشح غير متھم بالفساد، والمؤھل العلمي للمرشح، وكون المرشح متدينا، والتاريخ النضالي للمرشح، والانتماء الحزبي للمرشح، وكون المرشح ذكرا، والانتماء العائلي، والوضع الاقتصادي للمرشح، وصلة القرابة، ومكان سكن المرشح، وكون المرشح أنثى، وكون المرشح نائبا سابقا. وقد تفاوت ترتيب ھذه الصفات حسب خصائص الناخبين، إلا أنھم أجمعوا على الصفتين الأوليين وھما: كون المرشح غير متھم بالفساد، والمؤھل العلمي له. أما كون المرشح نائبا سابقا فقد جاءت في المرتبة الآخرة. Abstract The aim of this study is to define and arrange the characteristics that voters wish to see in the members of the Palestinian Legislative Council in the 2006 election. The characteristics are defined as follows: candidate not being accused of corruption, educational qualifications, patriotic history, being religious, belongness to a political party, male gender, belongness to a family, the economic situation of the candidate, kinship, place of habitation, female gender, being an ex-Legislative Council member. The arrangement of these characteristics varies according to respondents characteristics. However, respondents agreed on the arrangement (according to importance) of the first, second and the last characteristic.
