Combating poverty in Islamic economics

This research studies how Islam deals with the problem of poverty through the Quranic verses and Sunna traditions, and the practices of the orthodox Khalifs who applied Islam comprehensively that, during their rule, poverty had disappeared.
This study meant to discover the most important means of combating poverty in the Islamic economic system.The researcher found that, if Islam is properly and comprehensively applied to our reality, the problem of poverty will be totally solved because of the diversity of means that treat such a problem.
 Nevertheless, if the Muslim states continue to seek solutions for this problem outside the Islamic economic system, the problem will persist.
