This research addresses the comparison between “Tafseer Al-Thilal” by Sayed Qutob and “Al-Tafseer Al-Muneer” by Al-Zuhaili in the topic of the rights of divorced woman in Surah “At-Talaq”. This Surah mentions the majority of divorced woman’s rights known in Islamic jurisprudence “fiqh”, and it also clarifies the common goal between such provisions which is to maintain the matrimonial relationship to avoid reaching to divorce, and to let the door open for the possibility of returning the matrimonial relationship to normal. The study used the inductive approach, the analytical approach and the comparative approach by inducing the legislative provisions mentioned in Surah “At-Talaq” in the topic of the rights of divorced woman in “Tafseer Al-Thilal” and “Al-Tafseer Al-Muneer”, then analyzing them and comparing between the method of each interpreter in discussing the topic. This study also indicates that “Tafseer Al-Thilal” concentrated on clarifying the legislative prudence of the provisions mentioned in this regard; whereas Al-Zuhaili concentrated in his Qur'anic interpretation “Tafseer” on clarifying the legislative provisions, and in most cases, he presents the perspectives of the schools of jurisprudence related to such provisions.
