The objective of this study is to highlight the educational and sentimental instructions of Sayyed Qutb in interpreting the verses of rulings by examining An-Nisa’ chapter. This is because the educational and sentimental features are present in his book: In the Shadows of the Qur’an (Fi Zilal Al-Qur’an) in various topics including the verses of rulings. We chose An-Nisa’ chapter due to the fact that it includes many different jurisprudence rulings through which the interpreter’s approach clearly appears. The approaches which were adopted are the inductive approach by which we extrapolated the educational and sentimental instructions I the verses of the rulings in the chosen chapter, and the analytical approach to examine and discuss the importance of such instructions in building human selves. The most important findings are: the educational and sentimental instructions in interpretation have dominance on human selves and minds. This makes the individual as well as the community follow and obey the legislations obligated by Allah with obedience, reason and commitment.
