This study examines the issue of renewing Usul al-Fiqh (principles of Islamic jurisprudence) from an analytical and forward-looking perspective. The significance of the study lies in reconnecting Usul al-Fiqh with real-life contexts and renewing its function in guiding intellectual reasoning and ijtihad.The study aims to identify contemporary trends advocating its renewal, analyze their justifications and guidelines, and explore a vision capable of revitalizing its relevance to contemporary challenges.The research problem focuses on how Usul al-Fiqh can be renewed in ways that balance immutable legal principles with contemporary realities, without compromising its authenticity or methodological rigor. The study adopts a descriptive-analytical and comparative approach, drawing on classical sources and contemporary research. The main findings of the study indicate that genuine renewal does not break with tradition but refines and reactivates it to address contemporary issues within a balanced, forward-looking vision. Therefore, the researchers believe that the proposals and forward-looking perspectives should be transformed into practical projects implemented by institutions and scientific centers.
