The study aimed to identify the level of narcissistic personality disorder among An-Najah National University students and its relationship to their level of addiction to social media, from the students' own perspectives. The study used a descriptive/survey and correlational approach. The sample consisted of (90) male and female students, who were administered the Al-Maqdadi and Al-Sharifain Narcissistic Personality Disorder Scale and the Bergen Social Media Addiction Scale. The study found that the students' level of narcissistic personality disorder was "average," and their level of social media addiction was also "average." A statistically significant correlation was found between the students' level of narcissistic personality disorder and their level of social media addiction.

In light of the results, it is recommended that future studies be conducted to uncover the causes of high levels of narcissism among males, in addition to holding training workshops aimed at raising awareness of the dangers of excessive use of social media and reducing addiction.
