This study aims to clarify the Quran's methodology in protecting faith (Aqidah) through the lens of Sayyid Qutb's exegesis, Fi Zilal al-Quran (In the Shade of the Quran), which is recognized as one of the most significant works that addresses faith-related issues in a practical and realistic manner, distancing itself from theoretical debates. The significance of Aqidah as the solid foundation upon which Islam is built underscores the importance of safeguarding and defending it, which warrants further investigation. The study employs both inductive and analytical methods, surveying the ways in which faith is protected in Fi Zilal al-Quran and analyzing the faith-related issues addressed to derive key methods of safeguarding Aqidah, strengthening it in Muslims' hearts, and preventing its deterioration. The findings reveal Sayyid Qutb's deep concern with this issue, as he employs various preventive and defensive methods in his interpretation. Key preventive methods include the prohibition of associating with hypocrites, warning against obedience to the People of the Book, and cautioning against compromising one's faith. Among the defensive methods are restricting the influence of those who spread discord, striving in the path of Allah (jihad), and refuting doubts by demonstrating their invalidity.
