This research, titled "The Influence of the Court on the Ruler and His Decisions from a Sharia Perspective" addresses a central issue in the field of Islamic political theory, due to its direct impact on the integrity or corruption of governance and the stability or disruption of societies. The study aims to shed light on the concept of "the court" from both linguistic and technical perspectives, clarifying related terms and demonstrating the legitimacy of a ruler's selection of a court, as well as its profound impact on decision-making and policy direction.

The research also divides the court into two categories: righteous and corrupt, outlining the characteristics of each, and highlighting the essential differences between them, supported by Sharia texts.

Furthermore, the study delves into analyzing the distinctive qualities of each type of court, observing their practical effect on the ruler’s character and decisions, while also discussing the Sharia stance that should be taken regarding the ruler's court, advocating for the proximity of the righteous and the exclusion of the corrupt.

The purpose of this research is to foster Sharia awareness regarding the necessity of selecting a court based on piety and competence, in order to achieve the goals of Sharia, safeguard rights, and serve the interests of the nation. Additionally, it reviews historical examples of the conduct of Islamic caliphs and governors with their courts, serving as a guide in shaping a balanced contemporary perspective on this vital topic.
