This study aims to investigate the attitudes of sport faculty students at An-Najah National University towards the role of Palestinian sports media in promoting national identity. The study seeks to shed light on the contribution of sports media in strengthening values of national belonging and pride, highlighting national athletic achievements as symbols of cultural and national identity, and its impact on unifying sports fans and promoting national values through the content presented. The study adopted a descriptive analytical approach and used a questionnaire to collect data from a comprehensive sample of 285 students from the Faculty of Sport. The results showed that more than half of the sample regularly follows local and international news, with a clear preference for football news, and that television is the main source of sports information. However, the study indicated that the coverage of sporting events with national messages and the media highlighting of national values through sports programs are still at a low level. Participants suggested developing Palestinian sports media by participating national teams in matches and raising Palestinian flags, providing comprehensive media coverage of matches, and creating specialized sports programs to promote national values and highlight national sporting achievements.
