Sacred architecture extends beyond visual aesthetics; it shapes spiritual experiences. Referencing Vitruvian principles and al-Ghazali’s insights, this study underscores how al-Aqsa’s spatial design fosters religious consciousness. A human contemplation further illustrates the dynamic relationship between sacred space and human perception.

By categorizing the enclave’s architectural forms into quadrangular structures for stability and dynamic forms for transcendence, this study offers a renewed understanding of al-Aqsa’s design. Ultimately, it reveals how its spatial and symbolic unity embodies Islamic religious ideals and reinforces the sanctity of the site.
