This research is concerned with studying the case of the delay in the age of marriage (spinsterhood) in Al-Jouf region, a scientific study, based on factual statistics, and aims to: Identify the reasons for the spread of spinsterhood in the Al-Jouf region, and identify the social repercussions of the spinsterhood phenomenon on the society, reaching the best solutions for this phenomenon through the Islamic approach, and the implement of appropriate legal measures that achieve the treatment of this phenomenon or to minimize it. The nature of the study required that it be divided into: Firstly, the theoretical aspect which used the inductive approach and the deductive analytical approach. Secondly, the practical aspect, through a questionnaire that included a number of questions that reflect the subject of the study. The most important results of the research: that the causes of spinsterhood are varied due to: society, family, girls, Young people and the media. Spinsterhood has negative effects of various types, including: social, psychological, behavioral, ethical and economic. The results proposed number of solutions to reduce this phenomenon, and in light of the results, the research came out with many recommendations and proposals that can contribute to reducing this Phenomenon.
