I investigate the impact of individual characteristics and access to telecommunication infrastructure on digital financial inclusion in Palestine. I employ the probit estimation model on the 2021 World Bank global Findex database to analyze the association between individual characteristics and access to telecommunication infrastructure with digital financial inclusion indicators. The results indicate that the status of digital financial inclusion is low, but according to the percentages of access to telecommunication infrastructure, status can be improved. Furthermore, the indicators of digital financial inclusion in Palestine are negatively affected by being female, less educated, poorer, and not working. On the contrary, they are positively influenced by better access to the telecommunications infrastructure. Policymakers measures should be focused on digital financial literacy, and financial institutions should understand the financial behavior of beneficiaries and develop digital financial services that are appropriate to different individual characteristics’ needs and preferences at an affordable cost.
