This research aims to identify Al-Maliki doctrine principles. It focuses mainly on ijtihad principles, which help in the construction of an innovative, conciliatory jurisprudence system capable of answering the emerging issues of this era. The research highlighted overlapping in the doctrines' principles to identify areas of consensus, which help in building this conciliatory system.
The research is based on an inductive approach in addition to the descriptive and analytical methods. Its originality lies in dealing with contemporary needs.
It concluded that Al-Maliki doctrine is suitable for contemporary ijtihad, and to create consensus among all doctrines.
